Ok I just brought a W plate galaxy Ghia and has the usual stock 2007r and a 6 disc changer in the boot. Not bad but to be honest the sound quality from the ford unit is a bit tinny.

The problem is is that I'd like to swap the CD and Head for my Clarion head unit and 12 (yes 12) disc changer. Problem is is that the changer wont fit in the box where the 6 changer goes  .

TBH I think the only solution is to build a box at the back for it.

Any ideas folks? (other than "Don't be so damn greedy and get a 6 disk changer" )

I have plenty of room in the back of mine, you can put it in there if you like

I think he was talking about a CD changer

I have a 10 disc Kenwood changer under the drivers seat (unsecured but it works fine) - I can't see the 12 disc being much bigger.

BTW - A woman went into a pub and asked for a double-entendre, so the barman gave her one!

Problem solved!, I managed to get it under the passenger seat. It's almost perfect as the plastic surround under the seat keeps it held firmly in place. Getting the cassettes out is slightly tricky but easier than having it in the glovebox (which it was in the Granada. Yes it was that big!).

Now all I got to do is work out how to get the remote stalk working. I have a feeling that cause the head unit is an infra-red type it's not going to happen, however incartecseem to be the guys to talk to.
