Cutting Out When Starting

hello my 2.3 gal keeps cutting out when starting from normal temp, when i start it up it goes for about 3 seconds then cuts out unless i rev it abit ? any help would be helpfull please

ISV may need cleaning? whats it tick over like when warm? and what happens when you pull up at a junction? does the tick over fluctuate?

tickovers fine its just when starting it cuts out when normal temp, what needs cleaning ?

there are various names for it but i know it as an idle air control valve, it does what its called, try a search, i think that there are some pic's on here some where

...air leak, check for air leaks. They're rare, you only find them in Wales and they're bloody hard to catch! :rolleyes:
