MrT Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 I wonder why the the fuel pumps for diesels are supposed to fail when petrol stops them from being lubricated? The fuel pumps for petrols don't fail due to lack of lubrication from diesel. Are diesel owners being given inferior fuel pumps? Quote
johnb80 Posted September 13, 2005 Report Posted September 13, 2005 It's probably due to the fact that such a small amount of fluid has to pass through a diesel pump compared to the thirsty petrols  Quote
