~adema~ Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Hi ChapsJust drove home from asda without a speedo. :D On my arrival home, i had a closer look and noticed that the needle has fallen on the wrong side of that little plastic rest which it normally sits on when the vehicle is stationary.Which is the best way to access the needle to put it back in its proper place. It's on a mk1 Gal.Cheers Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Before you go splitting the clocks try unpluging them plugging them back in, then switch on the ignition, sometimes this causes the needle to spin around to the stop as yours have done! mine have done it before :D Quote
~adema~ Posted September 7, 2005 Author Report Posted September 7, 2005 Cheers VR6Where do i go in to get to the plugs mate? :D Quote
charles Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 you do not need to unplug.you also can disconnect the battery. this has the same effect. Quote
