Xeon Lights For Mark 2

Does anyone know if I'm likely to get any problems at fiiting Xeon bulbs in my mark 2, heat, fittings etc.

I see there is a lot on Ebay and was tempted to buy a set. There is also a lot of sidelight Xeons on there as well.

Dave, although I am biased...

 

I wouln't bother with any of the bulbs on Ebay, they burn out quickly, and are no match for Xenons.

 

Also make sure any bulb is 55w max, is filtered to make it safe for plastic lenses, and is E rated for road use..

I suspected as much with them being so cheap on Ebay. I think I'll leave it for now.

I've just bought & fitted some Osram Silver Stars, They're supposed to be 50% brighter than standard & give a better beam path.

They do actually seem to be a lot better than the normal halogens that were previously fitted.

I've replaced both the headlamp & foglamp bulbs & i'd recommend them.
