Ebay Not Always Cheapest

was watching some front and rear mudflaps for mk1 on ebay but bidding went silly and with postage cost buyer over 50quid

yes you was right a full set at fraud dealer only 45 quid no postage.

They may not always be the cheapest but not everyone has the good fortune :o :o :( to live within driving distance of a dealer.

 

I would imagine there are places in the UK 50 miles away from a dealer so

Dont you find that when you sell things, they go for a miniscule amount - but if you want anything - its really expensive?

I personally find that bargain's on eBay are a hit and miss thing, I have sold many items and normally I am only clearing out the (rubbish) stuff I don't need anymore and it would have normally gone into the rubbish bin or the local skip! Except now some of this 'rubbish' is what someone else needs now or soon... so I get a little money for it and that suits me fine, until I find another bargain to purchase from ebay

Its so funny when the bidding goes way above the 'buy it now' price for the exact same item in a different listing.

Or when you then do a quick google and find it

I always check the over the counter price and then go no higher that it, at times items I have been bidding on have gone for far more than you could buy the for over the counter!

so far I have attained several expensive parts for the Galaxy at way way under the market value :D I also check out ther feed back of other bidders and see what their bidding practices are? do thay collect these item, have they paid silly prices for other items, have they just bid just once on an item and then sat back until the last moments and bid again? it pays at times to know your enemy :D especialy when some of them are members of this site! :P
