JDF Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Hiya, The overhead LCD clock has burnt out its display in our MK1 GLX. When looking through the radio manual (can't remember the model number fitted) the other day, I noticed that it mentioned a clock function can be displayed. It describes how to turn this on or off but when I tried this, the display says "No Clock".Does anyone know if this can be re-activated?Would be handy until I can find a resonable cost replacement for the original LCD clock. Guest vr6galaxy Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 The clock on the radio is only operational while you are tuned into a station that transmits an RDS time signal, the reason why it says NO CLOCK is displayed because either the RDS is switched off or no RDS signal has been picked up? also the clock will stop running and switch off when you switch of the ignition, it will reactivate after a RDS signal is picked up Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 or try your luck here? Quote
