well i thought it be a good idea to bridge the terminals on the temp sensor and see if the heater would fire up after months of none use.

a good idea in case its cream crackered to giet it sorted it the dry rather than wait for the cold.

i thought it wasnt going to but then it splutterd and #*"ted into life with a billow of smoke,

just thought id pass my sunday doings on.

i also got some mesh and tarted up the upper and lower grill and now the wife says it looks cool, i can have a special treat tonight.

ive had some cider instead. hic nite all.

its a small round sensor about the size of your thumb end on a bracket attached to the wiper likage arm in front of the pollen filter just unclip it from the wires and bridge the contact wires with a small mini fuse and hey presto if its working your booster heater will fire up at all times till the water is hot even in summer.

sorry to bring back a very old thread but,

I've had a look for the sensor for the aux heater, is it tucked right back under the scuttle panel? if so how do you get to it?
