Electrics For A Tow Bar

Hello, I've just bought a detachable tow bar off ebay, and they say fitting it is a piece of cake, nothing is ever as easy as that!!!! Can anyone tell me where the electrics for the tow bar wire up to the car? Is it easy enough or hard work? Thanks, Phil B)

i have a 97 galaxy and looks like there is a plug connector inside the rear nearside pull off thingy

I lifted the boot mat, used the same grommet that the parking sensor wires come into and routed the 7 core cable to the nearside rear light compartment (loads of room in there). I ran another 7 core cable from nearside to offside and then picked up all the connections needed. All of the relays were mounted in the nearside compartment. Fitting the towbar took about 45 minutes AFTER I got the trim under the rear lights off, the wiring took about 90 minutes, I did dual electrics on mine.
