soptom Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 ;) Had the Galaxy serviced Tuesday, after getting home with the car after we picked it up "All done" we receive a phone call saying that they hadn't managed to change the spark plugs as they didn't have any in stock and could we come back in next week for them to do it. I hit the roof and insisted they do it at the earliest opportunity, Friday morning (They've now done it). What is special about Galaxy spark plugs? Are they in some way unique? The car had been booked in a week in advance yet they had run out? This wasn't a back street garage by-the-way, it was a Ford service and parts centre. ;) They also confirmed it needed a new starter motor and said they would fit one for Quote
Andrew T Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 They're long life jobbies, only needed every 40K IIRC, but the same goes for most petrol cars nowadays. Quote
