Guest julieswheels Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 Yesterday my wife was driving our 1998 2.3 Ghia X auto when the brake warning lamp and the ABS warning lamp came on. At the same time the front wipers stopped working along with the Air Conditioning. When you switch the A/C on the relay behind the fascia clicks but the compressor clutch does not engage. I think it must an earth somewhere, but where I don't know. Any Ideas?? Anybody else experienced this problem? Cheers Pete Quote
Guest julieswheels Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005  PROBLEM SOLVED IT WAS A FUSE! FUSE 28 TO BE EXACT WHICH THE HANDBOOK LISTS AS CONTROLLING THE ABS BUT NOT THE WIPERS OR THE AIR CONDITIONING CLUTCH. Quote
