 Hi Gang!

The air conditioning on my 2.3i (2000 facelift) Galaxy seems to have run out of gas!!!!

It has been pumping warmer air into the cabin over the last month and now does not pump anything but regular temp air.

Does any of you boffins out there know a good place or mobile unit that can fill her up at a reasonable price or do I rely on pontious pilate at the ford garage?

Needs to be somewhere in the Herts/Essex area.

ta for now

HI Gang

Thanks for the advise. Hopefully it wo'nt be a leak!!

Have booked it over the net for Aug 4th, for a re-gas and check. If anything found wrong then hopefully the 2 yr warranty will hold true.

Just had my Alhambra back from Garage after air con had stopped pumping out cold air. I had a pipe replaced earlier this year and a further re-gas about 6 weeks ago.

They tell me that they have flushed out the system, done a flourecent dye test and replaced the pollen filter and re-gassed again but couldn't find any leak.

The air is colder but I've known other cars pump out air much colder than mine.

Am I just being paranoid or is the Air-Con a weakness in the VW/Ford/Seat MPV's.

To be honest I will see how it goes then if I have any further problems, it may be worth getting an independant specialist to have a look before the warranty expires.

Hi All,

Just joined and on the topic of air coditioning can anybody tell me were the fill up points are? I have found one behind the bonnet catch but know joy finding the other one, the Hynnes book says behind the front right indicator but I can not find it.
