finally purchased dvd about to fit it.can anyone tell me ,ther are three wires, yellow, blue ,red.all bound together. i think they are for the interior light connection but am unsure how to connect them up.

the instructions supplied are not any help.they are definately nothing to do with the power for the unit or any add ons.

any help would be appreciated

Red, Yellow, Blue :D that's the old colours for 415V 3 phase! just how big is this screen? :D

I take it the screen has a light control switch on it? on, off and door switched? in that case you will need to find out what wire is for the permanent feed? the neutral? and the switched feed?

I would hazard a guess and go for Blue= neutral, Yellow=switched feed(door controlled) and Red=permanent feed (lights on always controlled by DVD light switch)

if possible buzz them out before you provide power to the unit permanently, you should be able to get continuity between either the Red and Yellow to the Blue dependant on how the switch is operated?

Hi I don't know if this is too late, my roof mounted DVD also has the same wiring arrangement. VR6 is correct, some installations fit over were the interior light lives, however in the Galaxy mine sits some 20cm forward of the interior light, so I didn,t connect the light wiring. As an side my Galaxy dosn't have a sunnroof so I glued a large piece of MDF to the roof after cutting the headlining and fitted my unit to the MDF. How did you mount yours?
