Bigjeeze Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Pete do a search on wipers - This is a common issue with the Galaxy - there is a cure that doesn't require large amounts of money for Mr Ford!! Quote
Guest MATT Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 The words 'Ford' and 'rip-off' come together regularly on this forum, that's why i try to fix things myself, most of the time i can manage it, but certain things are beyond me, and require special machines/ and if i dare say it, "experts" and you just have to take the bill, and the grow back the arms and legs. But wipers have been covered many times, and most people can fix them. MATT Quote

golfmadman Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I had to pop into my local ford to ask about locking wheel nuts. Lost mine the previous week and then the brake light has started flashing so was getting in a bit of a panic so went down to the local garage to enquire about getting a replacement locking nut. Told I needed a unique card to my car that should be in the service documents, well it wasn't, so he said that the only chance to get them off was to get the "lads" in the garage to do it and it may take them a while, from 30mins to and hour so he had "better" charge me the hour rate of Quote
nigelbrooks Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 Main agent parts prices are a rip off- end of. Now use GSF (German Swedish French) exclusively for OEM parts (about 40-50% cheaper). Never had a problem and they seem to have more knowledge about the vehicles anyway. Link to their site if it helps anyone http://www.gsfcarparts.com/ Quote
