Guest mr sensible Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 Hi all Just had the car serviced at Nationwide autocentre. Other than crushed sills (which they are going to sort out), the incorrect size air filter, air filter casing pipe not connected fully and being half a day late, the car starts and runs well. But Just noticed a after picking it up, that at slow speeds ie when parking, when I depress the brake pedal lightly there's a clicking noise (only once per depression and quite load) which appears to be coming from underneath. When this click happens there is no feel of it through then pledal. If I put more pressure on the brake pedal there is no click. Any ideas? Great informative site, which highlighted checking the sills. Quote
marinabrid Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 is it clicking from under the car outside or is the noise inside ?if inside is it the brake light switch ? Quote
Masked Marauder Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 Loose calipers or sliders? Or a pad moving in the caliper because the anti-rattle spring is missing or fitted wrongly. Quote
