On my Galaxy just back from the hand break there seems to be a vent, but nothing comes out of it. I set the back vents on and turned the front off. I could hear blowing but not much! I assumed that vent by the handbreak was for the rear air con, but on my m8s Galaxy nothing comes from his vent either!!!

Any ideas???

try putting it on full blast, and set the direction dial, to feet, or foot well, then see.

Yes it does change direction, the vents seem fine apart from the one behind the hand break.

Yep, you should definately have air coming out. I've just been out and checked mine and there is a reasonably strong breeze coming from it.

Strangely though, I've just noticed, the airflow is controlled by the front airvent controls on the panel not the rear :(

Nothing strange in that! think where the air is blown from? the vent is there to provide heat/cooling for the middle row seats, the rear blower for both the rear seatind areas

It just seemed logical that the rear control would control all the rear seats (middle and back) and the front controls would do the front. But then what do I know. They probably had 30 designers in meetings for hours to decide these things

Same here when I have my heating set to hot then the air comes out at the back only on the floor. Ie at the back of the handbrake and on the rear side pillar vents on the floor. However the hot air doesn't come out of the top face vents when the heating is set to hot. Just as you would expect the cold air only comes out at the back via the roof vents. Thus cooling your face.
