Hi all,

Im looking to self install either a ps2 or xbox (favouring the xbox at the minute as its easier to 'chip') but looking for some guidance, wheres the best place to install it in my MK1 Galaxy

I think my only options seem to be

1. Under the passenger seat well

2. In the compartment where the jack is kept

Which is best place for it and how easy is the install, do i need to make brackets etc?? sorry for all the questions but want to get this right first time

Cheers

If no-one has the answers, does anyone have a link to an install as i cant find anythin :P

I would go for the compartment where the jack is kept, but i would prefer to put it in the Wheel arch pocket, where the CD changer goes.

I was thinking, that if the front, lower glove box was big enough, would the new PS2 fit in it?

This would give you easy access to it, and could easily be installed.

If it has to go where the jack is, you will need to think of some way of mounting it suitably. same goes for under the seat. But any way you go, you will need to think of a way of securely fixing it.

Ps: i haven't got a PS2 in the house or in the car.

No PS2 or PS one or X-box or Sega stuff in my house or car either. Kiddies do have Gameboys though (but they were gifts from my parents).

I have a pstwo installed in my Gal. I have a 9" roof mount screen and the pstwo is installed on the back of the drivers seat (on the flip up tray) with a cover velcro'd to the seat to cover it when not in use. It was fairly easy to install, it took me and my dad about 3 hours one Sunday afternoon.

I'll try and get some piccys on.

In the meantime I got the screen from here :-
