justme Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Wonder if anyone can help me on this one... I have a black gloss trim around the rear number plate that just got damaged by a stray pedal of a bike that was on a bike rack, so I need to replace the trim, question 1; can this be done? 2, can i get the part from dealer? 3, could I get a chrome one as on the ghia models?Sorry for all the questions in one go but hope someone can help. steve67car Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 take panel off and it should be held on with non reuseable poppers and just ask local fraud dealer for replacement as this was also used on glx models as well :P Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 How badly marked is it? Try a black indelible marker pen first; could save you a small fortune (where I used to work, we used this method to cover up small blemishes on black anodised aluminium parts). Quote
chromedome Posted August 2, 2005 Report Posted August 2, 2005 Halfords sell these trims. I've seen then in chrome and gold colours. Quote
