Removing Air Vents?

Of the three centre air vents, the driver's side "flap" has broken. Is there any easy way to remove the vent to be able to repair or replace the flap mechnism? I've looked on the TIS cd and the one page I could find seemed to indicate a fairly major strip down of the dash :)
