Looks like my altenator finally gave up today (Sunday @ 12.30). Having rang a few spares dealers, i have been asked the how many amps my altenators is, 70A, 90A or 120A.

I can't find anything on the alternator that tells me what size i need having viewed it all around with a mirror. Not taken it off yet as it looks a nightmare job.

My Gal is 1997 R reg 2.0 GLX manual. Could someone please tell me what size alternator i will need.

Cheers, Chris

90A I believe, with the alternator removed you should see the rateing plate on the end cap? it's most likely tucked up along side the engine so you cant see it without removeing it
