Guest Goody45 Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 I have a V6 2.8 Ultima 1998. Automatic Gearbox. When operating at low speed in 'Drive' the gearbox can't seem to make up its mind which gear to select so when driving you can feel to gear changing up and then back down again, then it will settle and then the same thing happens. I have recently had new Gear cables fitted ( old ones snapped ) and this was done by TCH in Derby. Since the cables have been changed I have had this problem. I have taken it back to Ford to check for adjustment and they report no adjustment needed! Any ideas ? Quote
