Havent you explained to her how much money fitting it will save you? after all it's stainless steel, so it wont rust and fall off,therefore it wont need replaceing every twelve months, so with the money saved you can afford to treat her and buy her nice things :D and with use it will get quieter :) or she'll get use to it :D and anyway its a part for a car! what does she know about it? she's only a woman after all! :D

and to add insult to injury the bloody tv in the front room has blown up so i have been informed that this will go towards a new tv.
