Guest marcusheawood Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 ...Blimey! (holding hands over ears) you aren't very happy are you? :D Sounds like the slamming of the door jogs something rather than any wiring in the door, relay stuck perhaps? Quote
Topbloke Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 possibly dodgey inertia switch in the passenger seat cubby hole tap it with screwdriver handle then push button back down Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 DVLA site should have details of all recalls, as does the "Honest John" website. Quote
Guest the _bed_wrecker Posted July 21, 2005 Report Posted July 21, 2005 :( Hi all,Had the fuse box totally taken apart removed all relays and had the two usual bad relays replaced. I dont think it is the relays cos if you put ear to the back of the car near fuel tank you can hear the pump turn on to prime the carb then turn off. Have had the inertia switch out and did the bang and reset trick with no avail. I have seen that there is a box under the sterring colum that has had problems with loose wires and there was a recal for it , whats it used for ?? Will have a look at the honest john website for any clues. Also heard that they had problems with ECU earth bonding. :) Quote
