Guest andyjeffries Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 Hi all, My rear heater button doesn't turn on while the engine's running. If I turn the ignition off, push the button in and then turn the ignition back on it works fine. While the engines on, if I then push the button twice more it doesn't come back on after turning off. Any ideas if this is something simple (for a Fraud dealer) to fix? Cheers, Andy Quote
Guest stevebm1 Posted July 18, 2005 Report Posted July 18, 2005 i would suggest a simple wire and connector test before you take it to frauds, because as with any intermitent fault, they will charge you saying they fixed it,then 2 weeks later it's back again. Quote

It's within the first three months of buying from a Fraud dealer and it has some kinda warranty - so they'll damn well fix it or I'll nag them every day until they do. I just wondered if it's quick and easy to fix (i.e. a common problem that's fixed by popping out and replacing the switch) or if it's likely to be something more sinister (something about the engine management system)? Assume I know nothing, how would I do the wire/connector test? Cheers, Andy Quote
