Guest ajaycad Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 Have you checked the servo unit out? Could be a split vacuum pipe to the servo? Quote
Guest marcusheawood Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 ...sounds like master cyclinder seal failure, does it brake in a straight line? Because it's a diagonally split circuit, you would likely have more braking on one corner than the other. Have you changed the brakes recently, because pushing the piston back in without opening the bleed nipple can flip the seals over. Quote
seatkid Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 Not a vacuum pipe as pedal would not go down to floor but just be hard.It could be master cylinder but also could be a fluid leak/air in system, You had to pump to refill the braking system. Check the level in the reservoir, has it gone down? Full visual inspection of braking system is recommended. Don't drive until you get to and fix the problem. Quote
