carryongalaxy Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 my abs light comes on at the dreaded 15mph. i have read posts in here but can't determine the problem as the ford fds6000 cant communicate with the car via the connection under thr ashtray, any ideas would be much appreciated.the dealer wants big money to look at this as it's a time consuming job they say.oh by the way i am a newbie to the forum and this is my first post Quote
Topbloke Posted July 15, 2005 Report Posted July 15, 2005 okay easy answer is its going to almost definatley a sensor , first easy check is to look at the abs rings on the front cv joints (on the end of the driveshaft, wheel end) they have a habit of snaping if they are okay time to get the multimeter out and test each sensor indevidually (if you do a search you should find the resistances (i posted them before so you could narrow the search by looking at my posts) Quote
