Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Hi there, I think my exhaust manifold gasket is blowing so I need to replace. I have looked under the bonnet there are some pipes that come out each of the manifold branches, my question is do these carry fluid or are they for the heating system ?

the pipes you describe carry air / exhaust gas's so no problem of fluid loss
