imposter Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 Pulling away from a junction there was a loud bang and now the car sound like a truck when its moving - similar to an open exhaust-type noise. In neutral the engine sounds normal, turbo whistles as usual. Put it in gear and drive off and it sounds like a 1950's lorry. HELP! (tdii 110, manual)Imp. Quote
Guest stevebm1 Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 is the clutch ok?,could be a damaged clutch plate? Quote
