ashypd51 Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 hi all.has anyone got sat nav (standard equpment) installed. does the multimedia interface operate the dvd changer and the radio too.does anyone know if it can be installed instead of the cd5000 6cd unit without having to change the wiring loom, . i have a y 2001 tdi ghia with the six cd unit and 5000 headset , but would like to replacewith sat nav/multimedis system. ps. is the sat nav software upgradable , and where can i get one apart from the main fraud dealers.many thanx............... ashy pps. thanx to all who helped with the remote locking headache. steve67car Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 ;) i got a second hand sat nav and it fitted piece of cake[ but i do it for a living sorry]if you use a alpine or clarion gps aerial and make sure yougalaxy has the speed dependance wire then plug in and play B) happy days lol ;) Quote
