I have just brought a ford galaxy 1.9 tdi but it keeps losing power when you drive I have had it looked at by several garages and no ones seems to be able to find the problem I have not taken to ford dealer I am not that rich :) So I was wondering if anybody here can help out. cheers in advance. There a numerous threads on 'power loss' problems, do a search on 'power loss' or similar. It is very common for the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor to fail (this happened on mine, it would lose power as you were driving but was restored when the engine was stopped and restarted) but is not always the case (in fact mine ended up with the turbo being changed but that is less likely) :( ).
