Guest Marshal Posted June 13, 2005 Report Posted June 13, 2005 Hi Ive got a Mk2 Mondeo Zetec. The problem I have got is that I can not seem to be able to re-direct the air flow from the windscreen to the other vents. When I have the blower on and turn the knob I cant hear any flaps moving. Are these flaps cable driven or servo driven? Please help I've had my car 2 days and am still getting to grips with it. Any pointers please. Quote
Stickman Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 Following my recent experience with my Verona if had trouble with the hot/cold control and had to strip the center console out etc and found that the hot/cold control was cable/bar driven so im guessing here that the direction dial might be the same. I have the same problem with my 2000 Ford Mondeo 1.8 S/W and I went to the junk yard and striped out the center consul and radio slot and found that the flap switch has a servo unit, but I don't know how to rapair mine, Maybe the servo switch is burned out. It has six vaccum tubes connected to it. Quote
