Further to my post.

My warranty 3 year ran out end of May 2005. Just before I put her in for a warranty check. They picked up on some suspension links and they have finally sorted them a week ago.

The air con symbols where flashing then but not picked up. I didnt know what it meant at the time.

Gonna put it to them to see if they will help?

I have read posts re: Ford protect extended warranty but cant find anything on the net about it.

Asked for a quote with warranty direct.

I have just purchased a galaxy and wanted toknow

Should the symbols flash at all when you first turn the key ?eg. (3-4 secs).

If not then I may have a problem with mine. the climate control seems to function fine however.

Sorry to jump on your query tom8848

If you mean the symbols on the climate panel flash for a few seconds when you first "switch on", then it means there is a fault.

Damn I hate cars, double cheked last night and the symbols flash for around 10 - 12 secs. The cooling works fine however, I may get it into a dealer so they can let me know the damage.

Thanks for the help .
