Painel Instruments Substitution

Hi

 

I wish to upgrade my painel instruments of my Gal TDI 110 hp 98 (MK1), to a new one with trip computer. Can anybody tell me if this is an easy thing, or require very good aknowlogde. I recently make the Cruise control upgrade an it was really easy, however in Ford they say they want do it, because it was very complicated.

Please help, with some instrutions or links.
