Try checking the switches fitted up under the dash to the clutch and brake pedal.

Also the servo pump fitted behind the passenger side front indicator lense.

hope this help.

I had this problem, turned out to be the hose going to the switch thingy in the N/S wing (after a few years the hose perishes and needs replacing or shortening). There is a solution posted on the old forum which will give you more information.

 Thanx for your help Guys.

Had a look at the pump hose thats behind the fr passenger side indicator assy.

the flexible rubber hose (bout six/seven inches long) had a couple of small cuts, or perish faults in it, where it connects to the white plastic hose which disappears off to the servo unit(Ithink)....They didn't look serious enough but i cut half an inch off and refitted.......Seems to be fine now, although i've only taken it on one test run so far but with 100% working over 30 mins..

SO...perished hose or just needed hose reseating...either way i'm happy...CHEERS
