Guest pi2000 Posted May 29, 2005 Report Posted May 29, 2005 The air conditioning of my 2001 2.3 Galaxy is working poor, I can hear the (or some) gas flowing during start-up but the cooling is poor. This is the fault read out of the "klima-unit", I don't know if it has something to do with ths AC: Control Module Part Number: 7M5 907 049 Component and/or Version: Klimabetaetigung 0303 Software Coding: 0000000 Work Shop Code: WSC 000003 Faults Found:00926 - Terminal 30 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68) 009 - Open or Short to Ground01189 - Front Air Distribution Flap Motor (V145) 009 - Open or Short to Ground Who can help? Masked Marauder Posted May 29, 2005 Report Posted May 29, 2005 If it works, but not correctly then you either need to get it serviced or top it up yourself with more refrigerant. There is a thread about it HERE Many people on here seem to be of the opinion that a DIY top -up is not a good idea though, but major names like "Castrol" make a DIY top-up product and I can not see them putting their name on something that does not work. In any case Americans and Australians have been servicing their own air-con for years. Quote
