11pm last night I was on perrier - in a local pub. Time to go home - engine turns over fine...but the light on the drivers door is blinking and no engine firing. Im immobilised!

Relayed to local dealer in Wrexham next morning. Oh but we are soooo busy.

Cant fix it today sir - its not the immobiliser it looks like the engine management system but we are fully booked up with work for the next ten days....

To think I went for the galaxy (ford) because the previous dealer (mondeo) was so good - they shut two weeks after I got the galaxy :(

So my car is flat lining and the only things going is my bank balance :(

Could removing a fuse and replacing it cause this? It seemed to. Dont ask which, it wasnt me....

Dealer spent three days puzzling over it before replacing the security module, cutting and blowing me two keys (my request) and charging just under 200 ukp.
