Wing Mirror Wiring

I recently purchased two replacement wing mirrors on Ebay for my new shape Galaxy. However, the plugs are different from the orginals and the wiring colours do not match. Can anyone supply me with the correct connection sequence, the wire colours are:-

Galaxy

White, Blue, Red/Black, Brown, Black

Mirror

White, Blue/Black, Brown/Yellow, Brown, Red/Black

 

The reason I dont have the original mirrors to refer to is that they were both broken whilst it was parked outside my house - unlucky or what!

You may have to buzz out the wires to check but from what I can see on the mirrors the Brown/Yellow is the common on the mirror movement motors, Yellow is left right movement, Red/Black is up down movement, White is de-icer feed, Brown is the neutral

on the Galaxy the White is de-icer feed, Brown the neutral and thats where my diagrams stop! the colours Blue and Black dont appear! they must be the mirror movement motor feeds? but which one does what? stick a meter across them to the Brown and see what happens as you play with the control switch?

Facelifted Galaxys have different door mirrors to facelifted Sharans/Alhambras; I suggest that someone may have been telling porkies when describing your "new" mirrors.....
