Guest monty 40 Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 hi, i have a galaxy tdi 130hp 18 months old which i have from new, to my horror i have just noticed lots of grey smoke comming from undrneath the car. it is like oil burning and smells. upon inspection it is not the exhaust system, it is comming from a thin pipe on the nearside just inside the sill and before the rear axle.It looks like some form of a vent pipe. Any ideas what this can be? Quote

Guest thobbs Posted May 17, 2005 Report Posted May 17, 2005 Monty40 have a look a this thread http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.php?showtopic=3623 BTW it's perfectly normal for grey smoke to sometimes come out the small AUX heater, it really depends on the ambient temperate and the coolant temperate... So as the weather warms up, yuo may never see it again until next year now :) Quote
