There is a distinct smell of unburnt diesel in and around my Sharan,,,,more noticable when on the move with the window down ?????No leaks or wet patches......any ideas folks???? chromedome Posted May 5, 2005 Report Posted May 5, 2005 A "petrolhead" here. :P I had a bad smell of petrol whilst driving with the window down. Ended up with a new fuel filler assembly, it was fixed under warranty. Something to do with a faulty closure valve if I remember rightly. Quote
