Here we go with yet another turbo or torque loss problem :) , it was all fine up until last week when it suddenly started to stumble at 2500rpm+ with no turbo kicking in, however after a couple of days even the stumble disappeared with total loss of turbo. I have tried disconnected the MAF sensor and this seems to make it somewhat worse with further reduction in power. Have any of you encountered this stumble in place of turbo kicking in?Could this be the MAF - should I get it changed :) ?any advise gratefully appreaciated. regardsVictor Quote

Seem to recall reading that the vanes in the VNT turbocharger fitted to the VW 1.9TDI engines can become clogged with soot and jam. The valve that operates the turbo can also be faulty. Do you have the check engine light on ? Quote
