Gear Selector Lighting

Hi all,

before I have a bash and start dismantlin things,

 

does anyone have experience / tips on getting to the gear selected illumination on an auto.

There is a post somewhere on the forum on how to do this and how to rplace the standard lamp with an LED, hit the search button and spend a couple of hours looking :)

Using allen key, undo screw until knob comes off. Pull the lever gator upwards (kids think would make a good substitute vacuum cleaner pipe). Remove the cover with thin blade screwdriver or plastic spatula. Bulb will be visible. Remove. Replace.
