This has been covered before...Draper do a set of special sockets that

lock over the security nuts so you can take them out (kinda defeats

the object of having them fitted in the first place!) or you can HAMMER

a 19/20mm socket over the nut and remove or drive down to your local

tyre place as most of these have a set of the aforementioned sockets!

Most people the just replace them with standard wheelnuts so they don't

have this trouble again !!!

I've always prefered studs and nuts to bolts! the trouble you have trying to hold a wheel on and line up the holes when sticking the wheel back on! especially in the dark ;)

I would have though wheel nuts are standard on most fords,so ones of a sierra, escort, transit, mondeo etc, should fit

Steve...have a look at your nuts next time you remove a wheel (ooherr missus)

and you will find they are studs (bolts)!!! Wheel fixing to the hub varies

immensley between vehicles and even between the wheels fitted !!!
