Help Vag-com Codes

Hi,

 

I have just run Vag-com shareware 3.11.2N and have come up with following two errors - can anyone shed any light on what they mean.

17664 - Engine Coolant Temp Sensor (G62): Open or Short to Plus

P1256 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

17965 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs

P1557 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

 

The car is a 2001 1.9Tdi Ghia 115Bhp

Hi Guys,

 

Have just found a website that lists all the major vag-com codes and the 17965 P1557 DTC refers to Charge Pressure Contr. Positive Deviation.

 

With a bit more investigating I found that a possible cause for this code is related to a loose or corroded Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) hose.

 

Can someone please help me a identify where on a 2001 TDi 115Bhp Galaxy the EGR pipe(s) are?
