sad_git Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 I've just bought an in dash dvd player (standard single din size) and wondered if anyone had fitted similar underneath the standard radio in place of the cassette tray. The car is in the workshop at the moment and if I recall there is a metal brace behind the hole that might limit the depth of the space available. Any ideas? Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 IIRC the brace is far enough back not to cause you problems? if its the brace I'm thinking of? if you look at it there are a coupe of holes in it, these are for the rubber bungs that fit onto the rear of the radio and stop it bounceing :lol: the only problem you may have is getting enough space to stash all the wires out of the way when you slide the unit into the dash?
