Someone said this was standard on 130 ghia built may 2004 is this true cos if it is mine aint working does it just stop wheelspin

IIRC it's only standard on the VR6 models or as an option (TECHNOLOGY PACK)on the Zetec and Ghia models (115/130 TDI manuals only)

Mine was broken when I got mine... fixed by fraud... longer lasting tyres now!!!

I'm not sure if the V6 has traction control though.... Mine has something called EPC although I haven't found a proper explanation of what this is. The handbook doesn't really explain it.

No traction control as standard on TDI as far as I'm aware. Only available on V6 unless you made a factory order and not available in mainland Europe (ie imported vehicles) at all EXCEPT on V6...

From 2000 it was available as an option on TDI Zetec's and Ghia's

Technology pack 1 Traction control, Xenon head lights + pop up washers

Technology pack 2 ESP, Xenon head lights + pop up washers (115 tdi manual)

but it is only standard on the VR6's, wonder if the 150 TDI has it as standard?

if you do have IIRC when it kicks in you get a yellow warning light up on the dash

I had all pop-ups blocked, which is a suitable term for your picture :lol:
