Guest andypenn Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Hi GuysI have recently collected my Gal and as I plan to service it myself (2001 model) I have bought a KEY-PRO and have done a check on my car and apart from some intermittant fault codes and the following :- Address 18: Aux. Heat Controller: 7M3 815 071 Component: HEIZG. B/D5W 00013 Faults Found:01409 - Repeated Flame-Out 35-00 - -00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30 07-00 - Signal too Low00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30 07-00 - Signal too Low which I presume is a problem with the AUX HEATER all looks OK. I have cleared all the errors and will moniter them but my real question is is there a list of all valid addresses for the Galaxy or can we make a list up my adding any that peaple know. So far I have found the following addresses. 1=ENGINE 2=AUTO GEARBOX 3=ABS BRAKES 8=CLIMATE CONTROL 9=CENTRAL ELECTRONIC ? 15=AIRBAGS 17=INSTRIMENTS 18=AUX HEATER 19=CAN GATEWAY ? any other addresses that can be added to this list please post  Cheers Andy. \\\ Quote

Cheers Andy.Hi Andy,I've just seen your other topic where you seem to have sorted your aux. htr. problems just by clearing the DTC's using VAG-COM. Nice one, that's a first that I've heard :( Anyway, I got a bit of typing practise above :( Regards,J. Quote
Guest andypenn Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 Hi JeffThe reason I cleared all the DTC's is that I have only just picked up the car and the way I was thinking is I had no idear why or when the errors had occured or how long the Aux Heater had not been working, so I thought start with a clean slate. As it happens the next morning I started the car and heard the welcome JET NOISE so I will be checking the codes regularly in case they crop up again thanks for helping me out.you talk about testing things with VAG COM I have not tried that yet so if you have any helpfull guides for using this tool please either Email me or post.Cheers Andy Penn Quote
