Guest djjonesy Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Hi, I have a 2 ltr petrol galaxy 1996 model and have trouble getting petrol into the fuel tank. I find that the pump just clicks off as if the tank is full and I have to pump the petrol in short bursts to gat any in. Anyone had the same problem and know of a cure?? Paul Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Commonly reported problem, try twisting the filler nozzle around and dont insert it fully, you may have to experiment a bit to find a position that will allow you to hold the trigger on full flow :o there has been a couple of members that have had the breather on the tank blocked, it had been kinked or trapped during installation from the factory :lol: once sorted IIRC they no longer suffered the filling problems :D Quote
