I've copied this text from my new member introduction:

Hello, I'm just another Galaxy owner who has suffered from the vertical windscreen wiper problem (wipers getting slower & slower until they stopped - vertically whilst on the M60, rain belting it down, tired kids in the back, couldn't see a thing, waggons hurtling over the M62 from Yorkshire throwing up spray and the dreaded contaflow to contend with).

Like everyone else, informed that original motor was goosed & quoted

:huh: Thanks for this information, its just helped me to get my wipers operating again for my MOT tomorrow they had been getting slower over the past few days, but today they kept stopping (what wonderful timing the wipers have ...).

 

Turns out the passenger spindle was stiff (getting really hot). I've dowsed it several time s wth release oil and it appears to be working OK again, to at least get it through the MOT and to when I can do a proper job. :o
