Guest martinkerr Posted June 14, 2003 Report Posted June 14, 2003 I have a 96 gal 2.0 dohc, i can see a space above the petrol gauge where a little led light would fit but there dosent seem to be one, there is one above the temp gauge that works but no fuel light, Is this normal? Martin Quote
wiggybn Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 On my late 95 VW Sharan V6 the light definitely works. It is orange and comes on when the needle gets down to the upper red mark, in fact it was on about 3 hours ago! It also lights for a few seconds when the ignition is turned on, as a check, the temperature light also does this. Quote

Guest stevew Posted June 18, 2003 Report Posted June 18, 2003 the first time i ran out of diesle no warning light came on .I took it to the garage at the next service & told them that the low fuel light wasn't working. They actually took the tank off to investigate the sender unit in the tank , then decided to give ford a ring who informed them that there wasn't a low fuel warning light fitted . I'ts a Aspen '96 tdi byr the way . Quote
