eveninall about getting keys coded into the cars system, theres a chap on ebay offering info on how to do this without going to garage or dealer, he says it works on most galaxys. he wants a fiver for the info.

anyone heard of this or check out ebay under ford galaxy and find his ad.

Yes

It involves having two keys, pre 1998, one HAS to be a red master key. (maybe some 1998's as well).

Then you turn the ignition on and off a couple of times with each key and hey presto.

That's not the exact way of doing it but search the forum and you will find out.

It has been mentioned several times.

Save your money and use the search button on here its been covered a few times ;) if you look hard enough the mothods for programming in remote and ignition keys (PATs) have been covered

only got one key with car !

it a 98 mk1 1.9tdi must be a garage job then

Or time to search through the Yellow Pges for a dcent locksmith that can cut and program keys, I had a coule of keys done this way by a company in Coventry, they did the job on my driveway!
